Where participants drive the conversation
The unConference format: unscripted. unconventional. unmatched.
What is an unConference?
An unConference is a participant-driven event that breaks away from traditional agendas. Instead of pre-planned sessions and keynotes, attendees co-create the agenda live at the start of the day, ensuring discussions are timely, relevant, and impactful. This format enables real-time collaboration on topics that matter most to participants.
With no pre-set structure, sessions evolve naturally, accommodating the latest developments, challenges, or ideas. Whether you want to present a well-researched topic, workshop a new idea, or simply join a discussion, the unConference agenda adapts to meet the group’s needs in real time. It’s not just an agenda—it’s a reflection of the collective expertise and interests of the participants.
How does it work?
At the start of the day, the facilitator guides attendees through an agenda-setting process using Open Space Technology.
Participants propose session topics they are passionate about—ranging from formal presentations to informal discussions. Every topic proposed is scheduled and added to the Agenda Wall, ensuring all ideas find a space.
Sessions are dynamic
You can lead a session, join a discussion, or move between sessions freely.
Live flexibility
Sessions evolve as conversations unfold, making it ideal for fast-moving fields and complex topics.
No hierarchy
Whoever comes to a session are the right people.
If you are not learning or contributing in a session, you are encouraged to move to a different conversation that better suits your interests.
