General Terms and Conditions for Event Ticket Sales

1. Scope and Applicability
1.1 These General Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase and use of tickets for events organized by Trust Square AG (Organizer), a company headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland.
1.2 Tickets are sold via authorized third-party platforms, including but not limited to Luma, Eventbrite, and Meetup (Ticketing Platforms). By purchasing a ticket, the buyer (Participant) agrees to these GTC.
2. Ticket Purchase and Confirmation
2.1 Purchase Process
Tickets may only be purchased through the authorized Ticketing Platforms linked on the Organizer’s official website or event promotions.
2.2 Payment
Participants are required to pay the full ticket price at the time of purchase using the payment methods provided on the selected Ticketing Platform.
2.3 Confirmation and Validity
Upon successful purchase, Participants will receive an email confirmation and a unique ticket code from the respective Ticketing Platform. This ticket serves as proof of purchase and is required for event entry.
2.4 Age Restrictions
Some events may have age restrictions, which will be clearly communicated in the event description. Participants are responsible for ensuring compliance with these restrictions.
3. Refunds and Cancellations
3.1 Refund Policy for Participants
- Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 14 days prior to the event date.
- Refund requests made within 14 days of the event may be subject to special conditions and will be evaluated at the discretion of the Organizer.
3.2 Cancellation or Changes by the Organizer
- If the Organizer cancels the event or significantly changes its date, location, or format, Participants will be offered the option to transfer their ticket to a rescheduled event or receive a full refund.
- Notification of cancellations or changes will be communicated via email and/or through the Ticketing Platform.
3.3 Refund Process
- Refund requests can be submitted directly through the Ticketing Platform used for the purchase or by emailing info@trustsquare.com.
- Processing times and procedures may vary depending on the refund method and are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective platform.
4. Ticket Use and Transferability
4.1 Non-Transferability
Tickets are personal and non-transferable unless explicitly allowed during the purchase process.
4.2 Duplicate Tickets
Each ticket code is unique and can only be used once for event entry. The Organizer reserves the right to deny entry if duplicate tickets are presented.
4.3 Lost or Stolen Tickets
The Organizer and Ticketing Platforms are not responsible for lost, stolen, or misused tickets.
5. Event Participation
5.1 Entry Requirements
Participants must present a valid ticket and may be required to show an ID to verify their identity.
5.2 Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to act respectfully and in accordance with the event’s code of conduct. The Organizer reserves the right to deny entry or remove Participants exhibiting disruptive or inappropriate behavior
5.3 Liability
Participation is at the Participant’s own risk. The Organizer is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to property, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
6. Force Majeure
6.1 The Organizer is not liable for event cancellations or changes resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, strikes, or government restrictions.
6.2 In such cases, the Organizer will strive to offer alternative solutions, such as rescheduling the event or offering refunds, subject to the discretion of the Organizer.
7. Data Protection and Privacy
7.1 Collection and Use of Personal Data
The Organizer collects personal data provided during ticket purchases for event management, communication, and marketing purposes, in compliance with Swiss data protection laws.
7.2 Third-Party Platforms
Participants should review the privacy policies of the Ticketing Platforms used for ticket purchases, as these platforms operate independently of the Organizer.
8. Intellectual Property
All materials, branding, and content associated with the Organizer’s events are protected by intellectual property laws. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or use such materials without prior written consent from the Organizer.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
9.1 These GTC are governed by Swiss law.
9.2 Any disputes arising under these GTC shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.
10. Amendments and Updates
The Organizer reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time. The version in effect at the time of ticket purchase shall apply.
